The time has finally come. This week, the provincial government will reveal Quebec's deconfinement plan, which should give a broad idea of when different restrictions will begin to be eased.

The press conference regarding this matter is set to take place at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18.

Premier Legault shared a tweet on Sunday alluding to the fact that he was preparing for big announcements, including Quebec's deconfinement plan. He even added a little winky face.

In a past conference, Legault said he liked the simplicity of the government of Saskatchewan's three-step deconfinement plan, which creates phases of reopening based on vaccination levels.

Health Minister Christian Dubé is expected to create a similar plan for Quebec after being asked to do so by the premier.
