When the Empire decides to strip back, not even a Stormtrooper's armour is safe. Montreal is set to host a Star Wars-themed burlesque parody where the Force is not only strong but scandalously exposed.

"The Empire Strips Back" promises to undress the universe you thought you knew, one bootylicious Ewok at a time, revealing the flirty side of the Force.

Leia's gold bikini is just the beginning. Darth Vader is more invitation than intimidation, and Boba Fett definitely does not have a dad bod in the comedy show that has the kind of loving detail that comes from true Star Wars fans taking centre stage.

Iconic venue Le National will set the scene for the audacious blend of sci-fi and seduction on March 27. For two hours, including a 15-minute intermission, attendees over 18 can witness a spectacle where the dark side and the light merge in a dance of daring humour and tantalizing teases.

Tickets are set to go on sale January 31 at 11 a.m., with prices starting at $44. Those interested can sign up for the waitlist, securing a chance to be part of the unique experience.

Critics have already hailed the show as a witty, inventive take on the beloved saga, filled with puns aplenty that would make even the most stoic Jedi crack a smile

For die-hard fans eager to see the franchise in a whole new light and those in search of a date night filled with laughter, "The Empire Strips Back" promises to leave you seeing stars — in the best way possible.

Never underestimate the power of a good striptease, especially when it's set in a city not so far away.
