When it comes to must-try cafés in Montreal, there are countless spots to choose from depending on the vibe you want. If you're looking for an elevated experience that will transport you to the future, then there's one café and workspace well worth a visit.

Barri Café in Sainte-Thérèse offers guests a modern tech moment with self-serve ordering, private study pods, and a robot server. Yes, a robot server.

The Barri Bot, named after the café, rolls its way over to your seat, delivering your beverages, food and sweet treats while you work or study.

Located roughly 30 minutes north of Montreal, the café is open, light and airy, offering a peaceful environment to do some remote work or smash out a school paper. While there are tables available to work on, guests can also reserve a private pod, fitted with their own digital menu, timer, work table and comfortable seating.

Not to mention the booths are also suited with both air and lighting control. Pods are available for an additional fee and can be booked for one, two or four hours at a time.

While the Barri Bot will attract your attention, it's Barri Café's menu that will keep you focused and satisfied. The eatery offers a handful of food and drinks, both for dine-in or takeaway, and you won't be left disappointed.

The pulled chicken and cheese sandwich, Reese's cookie croissant and mango refresher are a few items I'd definitely recommend. I was impressed by the creaminess of the sandwich and the refreshing flavours of the mango bevvie matched with the sweet peanut butter taste of the cookie croissant.

Barri Café also offers a handful of Lebanese-inspired dishes including the labneh toast made with olives, mint, cucumber, tomato and Middle Eastern spices. The ingredients were not only fresh but were bursting with the aromatic flavours of the Levant.

So, if you're looking for a spot to study or work for the day, matched with delicious food and a high-tech experience, Barri Café needs to be on your list.
