A Canadian hotel was recently ranked among the best in Canada and you have to visit this spot at least once in your life.

World Travel Awards ranked the top hotels across North America, and when it comes to Canada's selection, only one managed to come out on top.

Some 2024 nominees included several Montreal-based hotels including The W Montreal, The Ritz-Carlton and the Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile. Nevertheless, neither took the top spot.

In fact, the hotel that was ranked the best in Canada is situated all the way in Alberta, nestled between the gorgeous Canadian Rockies.

Which hotel are we talking about? None other than the Fairmont Banff Springs.

With mentions of the Fairmont Pacific Rim and Palliser and the Shangri-La and Muir Halifax Hotel, the only one to land in the number one rank was the Fairmont Banff Springs, overlooking the stunning Lake Louise.

This marks the second year in a row that the Fairmont Banff Springs has taken the win, and considering its endless amenities and location, it's no surprise that Canadians and tourists flock for a stay at this renowned hotel.

Visitors can take in the remarkable sights around the hotel, and immerse themselves within Banff's National Park, making it not just the best but a must-try spot to stay in while visiting Banff.
