Céline Dion Was Filmed Singing Backstage At The Grammys & She’s Still Got It (VIDEO)

Céline Dion made a surprise appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards — leaving the audience stunned with her iconic presence.
Well, Dion also shared a special moment backstage with singer Sonyae where she showed off her vocals, and it's clear the queen has still got it.
The Quebec singer has been keeping a low profile due to her ongoing battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome. The last time Dion made a public appearance was at the Montreal Canadiens versus the Vegas Golden Knights back in October 2023.
Dion's Grammy appearance marks her first major public event in years.
In January 2022, Dion was forced to cancel the remaining tour dates of her Courage show due to health-related reasons. More recently, Dion's sister, Claudette Dion, revealed that the singer had lost control of her muscles due to Stiff-Person Syndrome.
“She works hard, but she doesn’t have control over her muscles,” Claudette said in an interview with 7 Jours, a French magazine, on December 12, 2023. “What breaks my heart is that she’s always been disciplined. She’s always worked hard.”
Fans began to worry this meant Dion may no longer be able to sing. Thankfully, the singer is proving otherwise.
During her appearance at the 2024 Grammys, not only did Dion appear to be in good spirits, but her voice sounded as magical as always.
In a video posted to Sonyae's Instagram page, she and Dion were riffing and running backstage — Sonyae allowing the legend to have her moment (respect in the music industry still exists y'all) — and Dion's musicality showed through, proving that her vocals will always go on.
The video also included a quick snippet of Céline Dion singing alongside fellow legend, Stevie Wonder — a moment fans couldn't believe.
While Dion has not spoken too candidly regarding her ongoing condition, the 'My Heart Will Go On' singer will tell her story in an upcoming documentary — set to air on Amazon Prime. However, no release date has been made public yet.
