CF Montreal has unveiled its schedule for the 2024 soccer season, presented by BMO, and Inter Miami will be facing off against CF Montreal next May — meaning Argentinian soccer legend Lionel Messi will be showcasing his skills on Montreal turf.

The 2024 season kicks off on February 24 and will run up until October 19. While Montreal soccer fans will be able to watch CF Montreal play a total of 17 matches at Saputo Stadium, there's one game in particular that any sports aficionado will want to be at.

On May 11, Inter Miami will face off against CF Montreal, with the iconic Lionel Messi making his Montreal debut. The game marks Montreal's third home match of the season, and what better way to start the month of May off than with a game against Messi himself.

The 36-year-old signed a massive two-and-a-half-year deal earlier this summer with Inter Miami where he will earn a whopping $12 million base salary and a total guaranteed compensation of $20.5 million, per SportsNet.

The Miami versus Montreal game at Saputo Stadium will start at 7:30 p.m. EST and while tickets for individual games are not on sale yet — although they will be available "at a later date," BMO said — fans can currently get their hands on seasons tickets. A season pass runs for $37 a month, for a total of $444 per season.

Lionel Messi has only played a total of six games in the Major Soccer League (MLS) and has already accumulated a total of 20 scoring attempts, landing him one goal along with two assists.
