This New Pop-Up Resto In Old Montreal Will Be Serving Up Hot Empanadas All Summer Long
Summer in our city is all about enjoying the outdoors, sitting on terrasses, and of course, stuffing your face with different flavours whenever you get the chance. And, now that we can have faith in summer again, it's time to get busy doing what we do best: getting some delicious grub from one of Montreal's many restaurants. New spots are always coming into existence as the warm weather hits, and we're here to tell you that Le Super Loco is one of this year's must-try places.
Le Super Loco is a pop-up restaurant that just opened on June 18 and is making takeout look tastier than ever. From warm empanadas to mouth-watering sandwiches, it's sure to be one of the summer's best additions.
The Old Port favourite Bocata will be taking a break this summer. But no need to worry, because it's this unique pop-up spot took its place for the time being.
Needless to say, we're not mad about it.
Groupe Barroco is the mastermind behind this new spot.
And, the group's marketing director Camille Blackburn let MTL Blog know that the "empanadas are made from scratch daily according to tradition."
So, you know you'll be getting the real deal.
Not to mention, the location is damn cute.
As for the menu, Blackburn told us that there are "three different options are offered daily until sold out."
There's a variety of sandwiches to pick from, including a vegan option that is stuffed with mushrooms.
And, for those of you with a sweet tooth, there are three desserts to pick from, including a lemon pie that sounds incredible.

The menu even includes wine and bubbly for purchase, making this an ideal spot to stop on your night out with friends.
Even with so many local eateries to pick from in the city, I have a feeling Le Super Loco will be at the top of many foodie's bucket list, including mine!
