This Company In Lasalle Makes Cookies With Pancakes & A Syringe Of Quebec Maple Syrup

Could this be any more Canadian?
Contributing Writer

Maple syrup is good for two things: pancakes and dessert. Well, Beau Events in Lasalle couldn't decide which was better, so it created The Cabane à Beau.

Or, as I like to call it, the ultimate Canadian cookie.

The sweet treat is a classic chocolate-chip cookie made with Swiss chocolate and candied bacon and topped with a buttermilk pancake and maple syrup made right here in Quebec.

Owner Giacomo Lombardo told MTL Blog that the item is "Inspired from everyone not being able to go to the Cabane à Sucre, so we’re bringing it to you in a sweet way; The Cabane à Beau!"

You can get six cookies for $15, 12 cookies for $30 or 18 cookies for $40.

I think it's fair to say that's worth it for what might be the ultimate Canadian treat (which could double as breakfast).
