In a video posted to Instagram on October 20, a man can be seen doing a backflip onto a Montreal metro train from a station platform above the track.

The video shows him land successfully on top of the train but fall off after a few steps while attempting to jump down.

He then rolls onto the platform as surprised passengers look on. The video ends after a short replay that zooms in on passengers' faces.

The Instagram post was by Vincent Leblanc, 20, a self-proclaimed "adrenaline junkie."

He told MTL Blog: "I’m from New Brunswick and we don’t have any metros over there, it’s always been on my bucket list to flip onto a train or a bus, so I had to do it when I got to Montreal."

Leblanc captioned the Instagram post, "when you’re late but karma’s a bitch."

In a statement shared with MTL Blog, the STM said that it's "aware of this video and the information is already in the hands of [its] Safety and control team."

"The STM strongly condemns such acts, which are extremely dangerous," it continued.

"It could have led to serious injury or even death, and/or damaged the train and cause a metro interruption."
