If you're like most people in Montreal right now — or, rather, the world — you're on the edge of your seat waiting for the ballets to be counted so we finally know who's been elected the next president of the United States.
And our very own mayor, Valérie Plante, is no exception!
Mayor Plante took to Instagram today to share a "story" with one of the ways she's coping with the stress of it all, and it's not necessarily something you'd expect.

The video shows her in her car listening to the song "Chant A Psalm" from an album called True Democracy by the English roots reggae band Steel Pulse.
She captioned it: "After yesterday's election night, reggae in the car is doing a lot of good."
She also added a mini gif of Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory breathing into a paper bag, as one is wont to do while panicking.
It's no surprise that Plante is feeling tense.
On November 3, she tweeted: "All the eyes of the world, and especially Montréal’s, are on the US Election tonight. Good luck @JoeBiden. @KamalaHarris, your high school city is rooting for you!"
She later faced backlash for this sign of support.
Regardless of whether or not she should be expressing her views on the election, it's clear that she's invested in the outcome.
For all of us who feel emotionally invested in the outcome of this election right now, jamming out to some reggae doesn't seem like a bad way to pass the time.
