In early November, MTL Blog reported that two groups of rescued dogs would be making their way to Montreal via South Korean dog meat farms.

While the first group arrived on October 29, the second group just got to an emergency shelter near Montreal, according to a tweet by Humane Society International/Canada, which is accompanied by a few photos of the precious pups.

The dogs are expected to be available for adoption in the Montreal area once they "receive the love, veterinary care and rehabilitation therapy they need prior to being placed in forever homes," reads a statement from the Human Society.

The Human Society said people should follow its social media pages for updates on the dogs' progress.

"The second group of dogs rescued from a South Korean dog meat farm last month are settling in at our emergency shelter near Montreal," reads a tweet from the Human Society.

"Thanks to our supporters, these incredible dogs are safe and can start healing."
