Ever wonder exactly how much you're going to need to save to buy yourself a home? Well, these Quebec exo train maps show the median price for 3+ bedroom homes near every stop on the six exo train lines to help you get an idea.
Via Capitale du Mont-Royal real estate agent Charlyse Amoussou created the maps and compared "the prices for 2020 and the first quarter of 2021 so you can see the evolution and know the current median prices." Every train stop on the maps "represents a municipality or area."

For areas around the exo1 line, the cheapest to live in currently is Île Perrot with the median 3+ bedroom home price being $468,000.
But, there are some even cheaper areas surrounding the exo2 line — like Saint-Jérôme with a median 3+ bedroom home price of $367,000 and Sainte-Thérèse with a median of $398,000 in 2021.
If you've ever dreamed of living in Mont-Saint-Hilaire to be close to the mountain, buying a 3+ bedroom home would cost you anywhere between $325,000 and $1.3 million.
According to these maps, one of the most expensive spots near an exo train station to live in this year is around Lucien-L'Allier station, with its area median 3+ bedroom home price being over a million dollars — $1.568 million to be exact.
And around Gare Central, which has the same median price as the area near Lucien-L'Allier station in 2021.
So, I guess it's time to see what's left in that old piggy bank of yours — especially if you hope to buy a big home around exo's Mont-Royal station.
