It turns out being a hockey fan can be rather expensive. On StubHub, some tickets for the Habs' final home game on July 9 — if they make it to game 6 — are being sold for over $35,000.

To put that amount into perspective, a Quebecer can get an entire bachelor's degree at McGill for cheaper than that.

The cheapest tickets for game 6 on StubHub currently start at $5,422.

Another ticketing website, Vivid Seats, is selling seats at the final home game for anywhere between $5,341 to $10,333.

So if you ask me, paying for dinner to watch it at a local Montreal restaurant, or watching it from the comfort of your own home, may be your best bet.
