Here's When The Whole City Will Be Watching The Habs Play Tampa Bay For The Stanley Cup

Mark these dates on your calendar because everyone has plans.
Reporter

The Montreal Canadiens will play the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Final. The Floridian team secured its spot after a Game 7 victory over the New York Islanders on June 25.

The NHL has since released the schedule for when the Habs will face off against the Lightning, and you'll probably want to mark the dates on your calendar because everyone will be watching.

Editor's Choice: 6 Post-Win Habs Moments That Were Too Adorable For Words

  • Game 1 will kick off on Monday, June 28 in Tampa (AMALIE Arena)

  • Game 2 will be on Wednesday, June 30 in Tampa (AMALIE Arena)

  • Game 3 will be on Friday, July 2 in Montreal (Bell Centre)

  • Game 4 will be on Monday, July 5 in Montreal (Bell Centre)

Since a team needs four wins to clinch the series, there's always the chance of Games 5 through 7 not happening. But if they are necessary, here's when they'll take place.

  • Game 5 would be on Wednesday, July 7 in Tampa (AMALIE Arena)

  • Game 6 would be on Friday, July 9 in Montreal (Bell Centre)

  • Game 7 would be on Sunday, July 11 in Tampa (AMALIE Arena)

Games 1 through 6 are set to begin at 8 p.m. For Game 7, the puck would drop at 7 p.m.

The Canadiens have 24 Stanley Cups under their belt but haven't made it to the Final since 1993, while the Lightning have won the Stanley Cup twice — in 2004 and in 2020.
