Cheap Thursdays are back at the Planétarium Rio Tinto Alcan, which has adjusted its programming schedule to suit Montreal's new 9:30 p.m. evening curfew.

The reduced-price tickets are available every week for showings after 5:30 p.m. on Thursday but you have to reserve online, as entry is limited.

The $8 ticket cost includes two films in the official language of your choice. The current programming includes Birth of Planet Earth, a voyage through the cosmos, and Continuum, a journey through the splendour of space and time.

On a normal day, adults pay $16.50 for two films.

A March 23 Instagram post by Espace pour la vie — which manages Montreal's Botanical Garden, Biodome and Insectarium — said tickets are already sold out for March 25.

Tickets are available for April 1 and the following Thursdays.
