Montreal Comiccon is unleashing a nostalgia-fueled horror spectacle this summer, anchoring its much-anticipated lineup with a trio of genre legends. It could be your chance to meet the ultimate dream guy, and no, we're not talking about a Tinder date.

Robert Englund, the man behind the infamous Freddy Krueger, is this year's first-announced Comiccon guest of honour. Englund's career spans beyond his seven-nightmare streak, showcasing his versatility in "V" and Netflix's juggernaut, "Stranger Things."

The 40th anniversary of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" is the perfect excuse to roll out the blood-red carpet for Englund, alongside Amanda Wyss and Lisa Wilcox. Wyss is known for her role in both "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and the first Nightmare film, while Wilcox is celebrated for her appearances in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and Nightmare's fourth and fifth installments.

The actors will share the stage for a 45-minute conversation, likely spilling behind-the-screams secrets and answering the questions that keep fans up at night.
