Montreal Comiccon is unleashing a nostalgia-fueled horror spectacle this summer, anchoring its much-anticipated lineup with a trio of genre legends. It could be your chance to meet the ultimate dream guy, and no, we're not talking about a Tinder date.

Robert Englund, the man behind the infamous Freddy Krueger, is this year's first-announced Comiccon guest of honour. Englund's career spans beyond his seven-nightmare streak, showcasing his versatility in "V" and Netflix's juggernaut, "Stranger Things."

The 40th anniversary of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" is the perfect excuse to roll out the blood-red carpet for Englund, alongside Amanda Wyss and Lisa Wilcox. Wyss is known for her role in both "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and the first Nightmare film, while Wilcox is celebrated for her appearances in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and Nightmare's fourth and fifth installments.

The actors will share the stage for a 45-minute conversation, likely spilling behind-the-screams secrets and answering the questions that keep fans up at night.

With Comiccon tickets already available online, the race is on to secure a spot at what promises to be a weekend of epic proportions. One-day early bird passes range between $33 for Friday and $50 for Saturday. For those looking to upgrade their experience to VIP status, prices are set at $125 to $187 during the advance sale period.

If you're in it for the long haul, the three-day passes start at $84, while the Deluxe package at $101 offers perks like a limited edition tote bag, an exclusive badge, and that sweet early entry, ensuring you get first dibs on everything Comiccon has to offer.

For the ultimate fan, the VIP three-day ticket, priced at $277, gets you priority access, exclusive merch like a Comiccon t-shirt and tote bag, and a 25% off coupon for the Comiccon store. Autographs and photo ops are separate tickets.

If you've ever wanted to come face-to-face with your favourite horror icon, this year's Montreal Comiccon might just be a dream come true.
