2 Montreal Pizzerias Are Giving Out FREE Slices Next Week If You Download An App

Two Montreal pizzerias — Pizza Toni and La New-Yorkaise — are giving away free slices of pizza from May 24 to May 30.

However, as they say, there's no such thing as a free lunch. And there is a small catch: you have to download the Wealthsimple cash app on your phone, which is also free, and show it to them.

Editor's Choice: You Can Go Electric Surfing At Speeds Up To 45 km/h Near Montreal

It's one slice per person but, according to a post on the i_love_mtl Instagram page, you can redeem the offer at both locations so that actually makes two free slices of pizza.

You could theoretically delete the Wealthsimple cash app as soon as you get your free slice, but if you're curious about what it's for, you can use it to send and receive cash. It sounds similar to how Venmo is used in the U.S.

Pro-tip: If you use the download link in @i_love_mtl's bio, you'll get $25 added to your account when you sign up.

Happy pizza-ing!
