If you love buying in bulk, then you probably already know that a special business-focused Costco opened near Montreal last year and about 70% of the items cannot be found at regular Costco Wholesale stores.
Costco's Renée-Dominique Dowd told MTL Blog that the new 132,000-square-foot Business Centre targets enterprise needs — from commercial kitchenware to office supplies — but regular people can shop there too, as long as they're Costco members.
So, what specifically does the Costco Business Centre sell? We took a trip to Saint-Hubert to see for ourselves and there were definitely some items that made us stop and go, "Whoa" followed by questioning whether we'd shrunk and were now forced to navigate a world made for humans who were giant by comparison (à la Honey, I Shrunk the Kids or Downsizing).
Are these products outrageously large? Yes. Will you feel a deep desire to own them immediately upon seeing them? Maybe. But, above all, it's just fun to know this wild stuff has been spotted within a 20-minute drive of downtown Montreal.
