Hydrate This Weekend — It Could Feel Like 40 Degrees In Montreal For A Few Days

Brace yourselves for a heatwave! Environment Canada has issued a special weather alert for Montreal, Laval, Longueuil-Varennes and Châteauguay-La Prairie, warning that it could feel like 40 degrees with humidex values from Sunday to Tuesday.
This is because a "warm and humid air mass will track into the province" over the weekend, the weather authority stated.

It will be warm at night as well, according to Environment Canada, with overnight lows near 20 degrees.

Check on your loved ones, especially those who are vulnerable or living alone
Drink six to eight glasses of water per day, as appropriate

If you can, spend at least two hours a day in an air-conditioned or cool place
Take at least one cool shower or bath per day, or cool your skin several times per day with wet towels
