All Quebecers who want to receive an initial dose of a COVID-19 vaccine will be able to do so by June 24, Quebec Premier François Legault confirmed in a press conference on March 16.

The premier said that the entirety of the population will be able to receive a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine before Quebec's Fête Nationale.

However, the premier warned that mass vaccination does not indicate that Quebec will return to its pre-pandemic "normal" by the end of June.

In the same press conference, Legault announced that the curfew in Quebec red zones would be pushed to a later time, starting at 9:30 p.m. rather than the previous 8 p.m.

"Our principal fear is in homes," Legault said, "In moving the curfew [...] it could be a bit more tempting to visit other homes. You can't do that," he said.
