Whether you're part of the art world or simply interested in visual art and exploring unique places in Montreal, Galerie 203 is an absolute must-visit.

This colourful space constantly has a variety of artist's works hung up on the walls, yet constantly feels like a trip back in time.

Different exhibitions and events happen in Galerie 203 all the time, so there's always something new for visitors to see and experience.

And when events are held, they're done big. A red carpet typically awaits you outside on rue Notre-Dame, making you feel like royalty as you walk in.

During the events, a bar with all kinds of alcohols and wines, which are usually locally made, is available. There's also a DJ to set the vibe for the evening.

Founder Corinne Asseraf "imagined the Gallery 203 as a place of discovery, of meeting and exchange between artists and art enthusiasts" and you can feel exactly that the second you walk through the doors.

A beautiful piano sits in the middle of the gallery, making it feel like you've stepped foot in a scene from The Great Gatsby.

The mastermind behind all of this, Asseraf, has such a warming, kind presence, which is reason enough to take a visit to Galerie 203 whenever you're strolling through Old Montreal. She let MTL Blog know that anyone and everyone is welcome in her gallery.
