Café Myriade says that the woman who was filmed ripping flowers out from its terrasse has apologized for her actions.

In an Instagram post, Myriade said the woman visited the café to personally apologize and asked for the video to be taken down. The café obliged her request and even gave her a succulent plant to take home.

The video, which was removed from Instagram, shows the woman approach a row of flowers in front of Café Myriade's ave. du Mont-Royal location at around 3:45 a.m. on Monday morning. She proceeds to pull them out, toss them on the sidewalk and walk away.

In a statement shared with MTL Blog, the café had a good sense of humour about the situation and didn't want to make trouble for her by filing a police report.

The café said it was "content she found the courage" to apologize.

"I do believe we can bring the matter to a close and sincerely end it on a good note."
