MURAL Festival Officially Starts Today & Here's What's Happening This Weekend

It's an exciting time of year in our city — MURAL Festival is back August 12-22, 2021, which means boulevard Saint-Laurent is coming to life over the next two weeks.

After having to cancel all in-person events for the festival last year, I know many are thrilled to get to experience this unique festival in person yet again.

And if you're wondering what exactly you can get up to this weekend to celebrate MURAL, we've got you covered.

Here's what's on the rest of the schedule for the upcoming weekend, all taking place at the "Zone Principale," which can be found at 3527, boul. Saint-Laurent.

Thursday, August 12:

  • MURAL opening show: DVSN, High Klassified and guests, in collaboration with Johnnie Walker from 7-11 p.m.

Friday, August 13:

  • MURAL Workshops from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Loop Sessions x MURAL presented by Prohibition from 1-4 p.m.
  • Sarahmée, Eman, Jam, Jamaz and guests presented by GURU from 5-11 p.m.

Saturday, August 14:

  • MURAL Kids Workshops: Build More with MEGA from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Pay It Forward from 1-4 p.m.
  • NoKliché x MURAL Block Party from 3-11 p.m.
  • Night Lovell, Skiifall and guests in collaboration with Johnnie Walker from 5-11 p.m.

Sunday, August 15:

  • MURAL Kids Workshops: Build More with MEGA from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • MURAL presents: House of Work Presented by Reckless Minds & Wun-Off from 1-11 p.m.
  • Cloud Cypher vol.6 + ROSES After Party from 1-11 p.m.
