MURAL Festival Will Officially Be Returning In Person This Summer

Summer in Montreal is officially back on! MURAL Festival just announced that it will be returning and will include "a whole lineup of in-person events."

The news follows the Quebec government announcement on May 18 that outdoor festivals will be allowed as of June 25, with a maximum capacity of 2,500 people.

"The central festival zone will be, as per usual, the one by Saint-Laurent boulevard, from Sherbrooke street to Mont-Royal avenue, which will be transformed into a pedestrian-only street for the duration of the festival," MURAL told MTL Blog.

"In order to ensure that MURAL is safe for all festival-goers, the MURAL team will implement all of the government's sanitary standards during the event."

The festival will take place from August 12-22.
