Quebec Is Getting Its Very First 'Pizza Week' Festival & It's Gonna Get Cheesy

From the organizers of La Poutine Week & Le Burger Week...
Senior Writer

First came La Poutine Week and Le Burger Week. Now, Quebec pizza lovers, there's a food festival for you: the very first 'La Pizza Week' is happening here this spring.

La Pizza Week, presented by Saputo and delivered by SkipTheDishes, will take place across the country from May 1 to May 7 as hundreds of restaurants prepare unique pizza creations.

La Pizza Week

If this year's La Poutine Week is any indication (it featured everything from Vietnamese braised caramel pork poutine to butter chicken poutine), these pizzas will be unlike anything the province has seen or tasted before.

Like La Poutine Week 2021, this food fest will happen mostly from the comfort of home. Quebecers can order local restaurants' special creations for delivery or take-out and then vote for their favourites online — an innovative way to support restaurants.

Participating restaurants are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
