Whether you're heading to Just For Laughs or just hoping to spot a familiar face on the street, here are some of the celebs making their way to town.

Montreal's been feeling a little like a red carpet lately.

From Neil Patrick Harris spending his birthday in the city to Russell Crowe showing up at a taco spot in St-Henri, it's been a summer of surprise celebrity sightings, and the party isn't over yet. Just weeks after Grand Prix weekend brought a parade of stars like Ben Stiller and Mumford and Sons to the city, even more big names are set to roll through Montreal this July.

Whether you're heading to Just For Laughs, the Bell Centre, or just hoping to spot a familiar face on the street, here are some of the celebrities making their way to town this month — including Ryan Reynolds, Katy Perry, and plenty of comedians, pop stars, and TV icons.

Ryan Reynolds

Don't be surprised if you run into this iconic Canadian star later this month.

Reynolds will be in town from July 23–25 to present friend and Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney with the Generation Award at Just For Laughs ComedyPRO. The awards ceremony will take place at MTelus.

Katy Perry

Pop icon Katy Perry is bringing her Lifetimes Tour to the Bell Centre stage on July 30 for her first Montreal show in years.

Tyler, the Creator

Tyler is bringing his high-energy set to the Bell Centre on July 22. Lil Yachty and Paris Texas will be supporting the rapper as special guests.

Rob Mac

The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star will be in Montreal to receive the Generation Award at Just For Laughs ComedyPRO, running July 23 to 25. His longtime friend and business partner, Ryan Reynolds will be presenting it.

The Weeknd

The Weeknd will light up Parc Jean-Drapeau's Espace 67 stage with his After Hours ‘Til Dawn Tour on July 24 and 25. The Canadian pop sensation hasn't performed in Montreal in a few years, so his upcoming double header should be big.

Kumail Nanjiani

The comedian-turned-movie star will appear at Just For Laughs from July 24 to 27. He's performing as part of multiple festival showcases and events.

Gerry Dee

The Family Feud Canada host and longtime stand-up comic brings his relatable dad energy to Just For Laughs for one night only on July 26.

Mikey Day

Known for Saturday Night Live and Is It Cake?, Mikey Day is in town for Just For Laughs. You can catch him hosting a gala on July 26 at Théâtre Maisonneuve.

Russell Peters

The JFL legend is back in Montreal, leading the judging panel on Roast Battle Canada at Espace St‑Denis from July 20–22. He'll also headline multiple gala shows during the festival's July 16–27 run

Ian Hecox & Anthony Padilla (Smosh)

The OG YouTubers behind Smosh will be in town for Just For Laughs ComedyPRO panels between July 23 and 25. If you're a millennial internet kid, this is your cue to scream.

Nick Mohammed

Best known as Nathan from Ted Lasso, Nick Mohammed is part of the British comedy wave hitting JFL this year. He's appearing at the Brit(ish) Gala on July 27.
