The first case occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the backyard of a business on avenue André, near boulevard Hymus in the Dorval borough, SPVM spokesperson Véronique Dubuc said.

A man in his forties was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in Montreal on Friday night. The incident occurred at the intersection of rue Berri and boulevard de Maisonneuve around 6:00 p.m.

The Montreal police (SPVM) said the car was travelling northbound on rue Berri and struck the pedestrian after he attempted to cross the street without priority — not giving the vehicle enough time to break.

On September 16, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) responded to a 911 call around 9:30 a.m. where they discovered the dead body of a 42-year-old woman in an apartment in Montreal-Nord.

Jean-Pierre Brabant, a spokesperson for the SPVM stated that the Montreal police had found several "marks of violence," on the woman's body — declaring the event as a "suspicious death." Police investigated the scene, knocking door-to-door inquiring to nearby residents for any details and scoping out security cameras throughout the vicinity.

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is currently investigating a "suspicious death" after a 42-year-old woman was found dead in an apartment building in Montreal-Nord.

Jean-Pierre Brabant, a spokesperson for the SPVM, stated that the Montreal police received a phone call at around 9:30 a.m. Friday and immediately responded to the apartment complex, which is located on boulevard Lacordaire, near rue Charleroi. The woman was found by a friend who hadn't heard from her in a while. Upon checking up on the 42-year-old, she was found unconscious in the apartment.

On Saturday, September 10, around 8:30 a.m. a vehicle crashed into a convenience store located in Montreal's Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood. According to Véronique Comtois, a spokesperson for the Montreal police, the crash took place near the corner of rue Des Ormeaux.

The driver was travelling eastbound along rue Sherbrooke Est when they struck a pedestrian who was immediately taken to the hospital in critical condition but later died of their injuries hours later.
