Contributing Writer

Just about an hour and a half from Montreal exist these adorable cabins on the water where you can stay, and they make for the perfect getaway spot.

The small facilities on the lake are located on the site of Camping du Domaine Lausanne in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts in the Laurentians.

Before you get going, check our Responsible Travel Guide so you can be informed, be safe, be smart, and most of all, be respectful on your trip.

Inside each of the 10 floating cabins on site, there's a picnic table, a queen-size bed and two single bunk beds to accommodate two adults and two children 17 years of age or younger.
