A massive poutine festival is coming to Montreal's Old Port this month

Poutine lovers rejoice, 'cause there's a massive poutine festival touching down in Montreal this month and you're going to want to show up hungry.

Le Grand Poutinefest is making a comeback in Montreal's Old Port this July, serving up countless varieties of Quebec's iconic dish, all while offering concert performances and an array of on-site activities.

From July 17 to 28, Le Grand Poutinefest will offer up to six food trucks to choose from, all of which will be serving up some of the most delicious poutine concoctions you can think of including classic poutines, Hawaiian-style, loaded with lobster, and Tex-Mex options, among many many more.

Festivalgoers will also be able to enjoy giant inflatable games, Quebec microbrewery beers, sweet treats and concerts, too. All shows are free and will take place on the Grand PoutineFest stage on the following days:

• Friday, Juliet 19: Freddie James
• Saturday, July 20: Lili-Ann De Francesco
• Wednesday, July 24: Phil Lauzon
• Thursday, July 25: Édouard Lagacé
• Friday, July 26: Freddie James

For its 10th edition, the Grand PoutineFest offers even more for the little ones. Alongside the familiar giant inflatables and carnival games, each Sunday of the festival will feature a unique experience tailored just for kids, with a host of special activities including colouring spaces, balloon sculptures, and a fully free inflatable fun zone, presented by Naya.

The 12-day foodie festival is free to enter and will take place at the Clock Tower Quay and run from noon until 9 p.m (Monday to Saturday), and until 8 p.m. on Sundays.
