Montreal’s Orange Cones Finally Found A Purpose In This Woman’s Viral Photoshoot (VIDEO)

The only thing that has more of an influence on locals than online influencers is Montreal construction and the orange traffic cones that are constantly found all over the city. A video shared on the Instagram page, @influencersinthewild, has people not just noticing the influencer, but the classic "RUE BARRÉ" sign that Montrealers have come to love to hate.

The page is dedicated to people stumbling upon social media influencers creating content. The page's bio reads "Where content creators ARE the content."

The video shows a model in an outfit resembling a construction worker's uniform complete with a helmet and the iconic bright orange. A photographer can be seen trying to get the shot.

We reached out to the person who submitted the video to the page and would like to remain anonymous. They said, "I was literally just at a red light in Montreal and saw this girl coming out and decided to film her."

The video was taken on August 31 at around noon and was posted on Thursday, September 10.

At the time of writing this article, it had over 16,450 likes and over 210 comments.

While it may make you do a double-take to see an influencer actually creating the content, it's the setting that has people talking.

The overall eye-rolling setting has the comment section filled with Montrealers and people from all over Quebec chiming in about the construction.

Even the caption reads "Taxpayer dollars hard at work 😤."

One commenter claimed that a video like this could only be in Montreal.

They weren't wrong...

One commenter predicts that maybe this is why there's always so much traffic in the city.

Could they be onto something?

Many of the commenters are hoping that the latest recruit can help speed up work around the city.

I'm sure many locals could agree.

Next time you're stuck in traffic, just remember there may be important work being done...
