The results of La Pizza Week 2021 are in. One Montreal pizza joint has been declared the best in the city — and the third-best in Canada — according to voters. 

Alto Restaurant's Meat Lover has won the "audience selection" award and was also selected by festival partner Saputo as the best pizza in Quebec.

It was made with pepperoni, capicollo, smoked meat, bacon, minced meat, ham and Sicilian Italian sausage. We're drooling, are you?

La Pizza Week's 2021 competition, the first-ever, took place from May 1 to 7. Hundreds of restaurants across Canada offered special-edition pizza creations via SkipTheDishes, which were then subject to a vote.

In addition to Alto's win, another Montreal pizzeria got recognized. Les Garnements' La Bacon Pheezah won SkipTheDishes' Prix pour le Québec.
