Quebec Reported The Most New COVID-19 Cases Since The Beginning Of The Pandemic
For the fourth day in a row, Quebec has recorded more than 1,000 new cases of COVID-19. The results as of Monday, October 5 are also particularly high. With 1,191 people infected in the past 24 hours, the largest increase since the start of the pandemic in Quebec has been recorded.

The number of hospitalizations increased by 27 people, for a total of 361 as of October 5.
The second wave continues to sweep over the province.
Three new towns in the Gaspé will officially go into the red zone as of 11:59 p.m. on Monday.
While notable increases in cases are observed there, the municipalities of Nouvelle, Maria and Carleton-sur-Mer will now be under maximum alert.
