2 Teenagers Were Injured In A Crowd In Montreal's Old Port Saturday Night
Montreal's Old Port was packed with people yesterday and in the midst of the crowd, two teenagers were injured — one was shot and one was stabbed.
SPVM spokesperson Veronique Comtois told MTL Blog a call was recieved just after midnight "concerning a gunshot heard on De La Commune street." The victim, who was "injured by a gunshot on her foot," was an 18-year-old woman. Comtois said she was brought to the hospital and there is no danger for her life.

"While they were there, the police located an 19-year-old man who was stabbed on the upper body. He was also transported to the hospital and there is no danger for his life," Comtois said.
"According to the first information we've reicved, it was an altercation between a few [people]. And while the altercation was going on, there was a gunshot that was fired." The SPVM doesn't think the woman who was harmed by the gunshot was implicated in the altercation, and cannot yet confirm if the man who was stabbed was involved in the conflict either.
No arrests have been made concering these two injuries at the moment, but an investigation is on going.
