Located in the heart of the city, the rooms in this horror escape room game in Montreal may give you more chills than your favourite scary movie and one of them is so disturbing that it's only for people 16 years and older.

On rue Atateken, you'll find four escape rooms at Find the Key Montreal and each one lasts from 45 minutes to an hour.

Among the themes presented are The Unknown for ages 16 and up, Insomnium, which is reminiscent of the famous Stranger Things series, The Cabin in the Woods and the Haunted Pirate Ship.

The Unknown is rated at a difficulty level of four out of five and is done in groups of two to four. The room is described as a social experiment that turns into a nightmare when the line between game and reality is not completely clear.

The cost is $25 per person and, depending on the theme you choose to discover, you can be from two to eight people to solve the puzzle and escape the room.

To book your immersion into this creepy setting, you can go to its website and choose the time that suits you and your gang best. It's advisable to make a reservation as soon as possible because places get filled up quickly!
