Montreal is home to some of the best foodie spots in the world, so it's only fair that our airport reflects our booming culinary scene.

For those who frequent the Montreal airport often or have a flight to catch soon, your pre-flight meal options just got a whole lot better. The YUL airport just welcomed two new Montreal restaurants to its repertoire of impressive eateries, giving you the choice of to 35 different places to eat.

As for new restos, the Montreal airport announced the opening of iconic brunch restaurant Allô Mon Coco and fast food spot, Thai Express.

"Today marked the official opening of Allô Mon Coco and Thai Express at YUL," the airport wrote on Instagram. "Congratulations to the operator of these two new restaurants."

Located at Gate 50, after passing through security, Montreal travellers and visitors will be able to sample Allô Mon Coco's decadent brunch menu, which includes lots of sweet and savoury brunch plates, their tasty eggs Benedict and delish waffles, and of course, Allô Mon Coco's famous breakfast potatoes.

The brunch spot restaurant will remain open from 4 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily.

The new Thai Express is also located at Gate 50 in the restricted area following security. Travellers will be able to enjoy some of their classic menu items made up of soups, salads, noodles, rice dishes, curries, stir-fries, and desserts. Thai Express will remain open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
