The Price family visited Big White ski resort for the first time in mid-December, sharing a family photo of their adventures on Angela Price's Instagram page. Now, after hitting the slopes, hockey might be taking a back seat to skiing.
"Feel like everyone in Kelowna is always talking about Big White and now we see why," Price wrote. "Such a cute ski hill and just perfectly set up for families. I’m sure we will be spending a lot of time here this winter."
Carey Price and the fam jam gave Big White another go this past week while the kids were still off from school. In a separate post shared online, Angela Price gave fans a sneak peek into their family-filled adventure, which included lots of skiing, snowboarding and hot chocolate drinking.
"Feeling much better about my skiing situation and even gave a go at teaching the two littles," Price captioned the carousel of pics. Their youngest two kids, son Lincoln and daughter Millie did well, particularly Millie who Angela said "picked it [skiing] up right away."
As for Linc, his skiing adventures were cut short by a spoon fed hot chocolate session inside the ski lodge. Even Carey Price enjoyed a hot cup of cocoa alongside his best bud.

Carey Price and Angela Price spent a heartwarming family-filled weekend for Canadian Thanksgiving. In addition to their Thanksgiving feast, the Montreal Canadiens power couple served up some of the cutest family moments and even started a brand-new tradition.
"Happy Thanksgiving. [We] started a new tradition of camping for the holiday weekend and ended up having the best Thanksgiving," Angela Price captioned her Instagram post on October 8.
Although the couple didn't disclose where they spent their Thanksgiving weekend, the stunning backdrop and their love for British Columbia all point to that being their Thanksgiving destination of choice. Not to mention Carey Price is from B.C. after all.
The Price family brought out their stunning Airstream RV for the ultimate camping weekend where they cooked up quite the Thanksgiving spread. Angela posted a series of Instagram Stories showcasing their dinner made up of a delectable roast, potatoes, and veggies all followed by a mouthwatering pumpkin pie.
The entire family also spent time by the campfire, where all three kids were surprised with top-tier binoculars for some epic star-gazing. Declaring it the "best Thanksgiving ever," the Price fam jam took in the wilderness with a walk and some lakeside fun.
One highlight remains their youngest, Lincoln sitting down with his legs crossed imitating his dad. "So many comments about Linc sitting like Care. He has been doing it all weekend; it's the cutest," Angela wrote on her Stories. The Thanksgiving festivities then came to an end this past Sunday.
Carey and Angela gave their RV a deep clean and prepared it for its time away during winter and returned back home.

But what is the big deal anyway? Well, turns out that during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Robert Kennedy Jr., who is currently running for president in the 2024 election, rose to prominence due to his opposition to vaccines. And that wasn't Kennedy's only COVID-related scandal. The politician also aired out some rather bigoted conspiracy theories surrounding the virus, and how it spared certain ethnic and religious groups.
In a video captured by The New York Post, Kennedy can be heard saying that the COVID-19 virus was "ethnically targeted" to attack Black and Caucasian people, while those most immune are Jewish and Chinese.
"COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately,” Kennedy can be heard saying in the footage. "We don’t know whether it was deliberately targeted or not but there are papers out there that show the racial or ethnic differential and impact."
Many argue that Price's apparent endorsement of Kennedy is on par with supporting figures like Trump or Ron Desantis. "Good Lord this woman can't help but continue to tarnish the Price name… Can she just disappear already? The more she remains synonymous with Carey Price the more I wish Hughes would trade his contract," one user wrote.

Neither Angela nor Carey Price have spoken out in light of the recent controversy.
Carey Price paid a visit to Maxime Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse's podcast, La Poche Bleu, on January 11, and the Montreal Canadiens goalie opened up regarding his issues with alcohol consumption.
Price shed light on his struggles with alcohol and discussed the time he spent in a treatment centre after entering the NHL player assistance program back in October 2021.
"I started drinking for fun when I would go out and have fun with the guys, and I thought I was very good, even excelled. But it reached a point where it wasn't fun anymore and it had to stop," Price admitted.

"I would wake up on Sunday mornings and tell myself I would never do this again in my life, but I kept doing it. I got to a point where I really needed to stop and I thought it was a good time to ask for help."
Price made clear that while reaching out and asking for help was one of the hardest steps to take in order to break his habits, it was also the most necessary step in his journey.
"Everyone asks for help in their life at some point. There's nothing wrong with that. I felt like asking for help was the right thing to do and it worked for me," Price told the podcast hosts and former Habs players.
During his time at the treatment centre, Price was able to meet and speak with others grappling with similar problems. "To be able to hear stories and connect with other people who were going through the same kind of hardships [...] in their everyday lives and to be able to reset my brain and empower myself was really a turning point for me."
Price shared that the few weeks he spent in treatment allowed him to better cope with social events, which often caused the NHL star anxiety.
"When I went out, I would drink a lot to be socially comfortable. I'm very introverted and I get anxiety when we're in large groups. You wouldn't think that, but that's just the way I am, and it led me to drink excessively."
"So, to be able to change my approach when I go to social events and be able to be me, it's been a really good change," Price concluded.

Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price told the media Monday that he currently doesn't anticipate retiring from the team, at least not in the near future, as some fans had feared.
"We'll have to take it step by step," he said at a press conference. "I don't have a plan to retire right at this moment."
A knee injury has kept Price away from the rink. Canadiens General Manager Kent Hughes said in August that the injury could keep him out of the 2022-2023 season entirely.
"Right now my goal is to be pain-free from day to day," the goalie said Monday. He said he still has difficulty getting up and down stairs. "My first priority is just to get my body in a place to where I'm pain-free."
He described the injury and recovery process as an "emotional roller coaster."
"It's frustrating, no question."
"You go from being in the Stanley Cup Final" in 2021 "to be sitting here today [...] It's not a position I envision myself being in."
As for next steps, Price committed to continuing with rehab, even though he admitted it hasn't been successful. He said others with a similar injury have confided that it took them a year to "start feeling normal."
"I'm still holding out hope."
He described the prospect of an additional surgical intervention as "worrisome."
"In my opinion, it's a little risky for my quality of life."
"It's kind of something I would consider if my quality of life is not at a place where I feel is acceptable and I'm really struglling in my day to day living."
While fans were glued to the match, many couldn't help but notice Carey took some time to chat with his wife and kids — who just so happened to be sitting in the front row watching dad in action.

Following the match, Carey Price sat down for his first press conference in a long time and was asked about his return after months of being away from the team.
"I felt more comfortable in general and felt a lot more settled in," Price said. "I'm starting to feel like it's a little less chaotic out there."
Carey was then asked about the chat he shared with his family during the commercial break, and his response is just too heartwarming.

"It's definitely a lot of fun to share these moments together with my kids," Price said.
When asked about what he and Millie spoke about, the Habs goaltender replied eagerly, "She wondered why he was shovelling the ice," which resulted in a few sweet laughs throughout the room.

Here's Carey! After a very dramatic week for Montreal Canadiens fans, Carey Price decided to take to the ice for what looks like a short training session with the team. His short yet sweet appearance will certainly lift everyone's spirits and remind everyone to keep calm and Carey on.

"There's a reason why he attracts good people and everybody wants to be around him, because he's a great human being," Habs forward Tyler Toffoli said at a post-game press conference on Tuesday night.
Habs defenceman Ben Chiarot echoed Toffoli, calling Price "a leader on our team" and "a brave man to come out and face his fears the way he did."
"That's not easy for guys to do, and he did it head-on."

There's no word on when Price will officially return to the team or when he'll suit up for his first game, but he deserves to take all the time he needs.
In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Price revealed that he has been in a treatment facility for substance use. He also said he's been in a "very dark place" after years of neglecting his mental health.
"I didn't have the tools to cope with that struggle [...] Things had reached a point that I realized I needed to prioritize my health for both myself and for my family. Asking for help when you need it is what we encourage our kids to do, and it was what I needed to do," he said. "All I can do is take it day by day."
On November 5, Habs coach Dominique Ducharme confirmed that Price would be rejoining the team, stating that he would be meeting with athletic therapists to "develop a plan moving forward."
But fans shouldn't expect to see him on the ice any time soon. Price said that, at the moment, he isn't sure when he'll be ready to return to playing hockey.
Though they've been teammates for nearly a decade, Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher admitted that even he didn't notice how much Carey Price was struggling and wished he "could've done a little bit more for him."
"There are a lot of emotions [...] I've known him for 10 plus years and any time I've been going through something he's been there to help me and I just kinda wish that I was able to do the same thing for him," Gallagher said at a press conference on Thursday.

Price made the decision to enter the NHL's Player Assistance Program on Thursday, much to the surprise of the Habs organization and hockey fans around the world.
Gallagher commended Price and said that it was "unfair" for him to constantly carry around the weight of expectation.
"It's just such a courageous decision that he made."
"You need to be there for him and he's got a lot of pressure on him outside of hockey, as well [...] We need to be there for him and try to do a better job of reaching out and talking to him."
Gallagher said he hopes Price's decision will bring awareness to unspoken mental health issues and inspire both NHL players and fans to get the help they need.
"I hope Pricey being the role model that he is, this will lead to a lot of people getting help, as well."

What we know so far is that the Habs goalie has voluntarily joined the NHL's Player Assistance Program. In a press conference Thursday morning, Montreal Canadiens General Manager Marc Bergevin said Price would be absent for "30 days or more."
