After naming Montreal's rue Wellington as the coolest street in the world, Time Out is sharing even more love for Montreal with yet another accolade. In a recent list of the world's "40 Coolest Neighbourhoods", Downtown Montreal managed to snag a spot in the 2023 ranking.

"The world’s coolest neighbourhoods this year is, therefore, places with big personalities. Each area’s diversity is reflected in its food, culture and festivals. Community is key: locals have banded together to rebuild their neighbourhood after disaster, to protest the demolition of much-loved cultural venues or simply to create spaces where people can come together and have some fun," Time Out said.

Montreal has been collecting accolades left and right and we aren't mad about it one single bit. From being one of the best cities in the world for students and landing in the top 60 best cities across the globe all the way to being named one of the best places to live in Canada, Montreal is now being recognized for yet another big feat…one of the most interesting destinations in Canada.

Explore, a travel tour company located in the United Kingdom ranked the Most Interesting Places in the World. Explore's data experts analyzed 1.2 million articles on Wikipedia, which are coded with a ‘primary location’ for this study. The locations were then reverse geocoded to reveal the country and closest city of each location. Next, the primary locations were given an “Interest Weighting Score” (IWS) and applied to the U.S. Canada, U.K., and Australia.

The Grammy award winner graced the Osheaga stage at 9:20 p.m. Saturday where she was jolted into the air and onto the stage for what can only be best described as the ultimate entrance.

Sporting a matching jersey set with the number 23 across her shorts, Eilish didn't waste any time before jumping into her first song "Bury A Friend." The setlist included all of the singer's hits such as "Therefore I Am," "My Strange Addiction," and one of the very first few live performances of "What Was I Made For?" from the Barbie movie.

Three major Canadian cities managed to secure spots in a new ranking of the top 10 most liveable places in the world. While Montreal has received high praise on similar lists in the past, it did not make the cut this time around.

Grand Prix weekend has come and gone, but one person in particular left a lasting impression, and we're not talking about any of the drivers. Hélène Boudreau caused quite the stir during F1, where she proudly sported nothing but underwear and racecar body paint on rue Crescent in Montreal's downtown core.

The OnlyFans mogul is no stranger to the spotlight, but she said the move took a lot of courage to pull off. Boudreau's body was painted in a red and black racecar ensemble with the Ferrari logo on one side and the OnlyFans logo on the other. The look, themed for the Grand Prix festivities, was created by muralist and body paint artist REMX in collaboration with Boudreau's art director Val Belley.
