Get ready, Montreal cyclists, because BIXI season 2021 is coming sooner than expected. Friday, April 9 is officially the first day you can rent a bike this year — six days before BIXI's usual April 15 launch date. 

Starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, BIXI bikes in Montreal will progressively start to appear throughout the city's network — just in time for the weekend, when the weather in Montreal will hit a high of 22 degrees.

Warmer weather is around the corner and that means that it's almost Montreal BIXI season.

The program, created by the City of Montreal, will return for 2021 with 725 new electric bikes and 83 more electric stations, bringing the city's total to 1,905 bikes and 153 stations. There are also 7,270 non-electric bikes.

The Costco Business Centre is a special kind of Costco that opened September 29 in Saint-Hubert. It's only the second of its kind in Canada, and 70% of its items cannot be found at a regular Costco.

While it caters to the needs of businesses, regular Costco members can shop there too, which comes in handy if you like to buy in bulk. Super mega bulk.
