Quebecers Can 'Buy Now, Pay Later' At Thousands Of Stores Online & Here's How

Afterpay lets you purchase items like normal, but pay over six weeks. How cool?
Contributing Writer

Exciting news for online shoppers! Afterpay has made its way to Quebec, making online purchases even easier for us here in la belle province

Known as "the leader in 'Buy Now, Pay Later' payments," the company allows shoppers to purchase items like normal, but paid in four interest-free payments over six weeks.

Afterpay is on a mission to power an economy in which everyone wins.

Afterpay

Started in 2014 in Australia, the company has partnered with over 64,000 brands around the world, including UGG, Gymshark and Ulta.

Launched here in Canada in August 2020, this marks the expansion into Quebec and offers customers service in English and Canadian French.

Some Canadian brands that have partnered with the platform are Roots, Aritzia and Lululemon.

And it's not just the big stores that offer the service. Many smaller, local businesses are also getting in on the action.

But don't think you have to stick to Canadian stores.

The platform is offered in "Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, and the United Kingdom (where it is known as Clearpay)" and has even allowed our local vendors to reach a wider audience — Some stores saying that over half of their Afterpay customers were from overseas.*

Time to get shopping!
