As much as we don't want to admit it, summer won't last forever and fall is slowly, but surely upon us. With the cooler weather in the air, it's time to whip out those comfy sweaters and head to your favourite Montreal café. Because if there are two things that Montrealers know about, it's how to stay warm when the weather takes a dip and good coffee. One of the best parts about coffee is that it's good any time of year. Cappuccinos, ice coffees, pumpkin spice lattés, whatever you fancy, any time is coffee time. And like I said, we know coffee here in Montreal, so the options are absolutely endless — not just for types of coffee, but types of cafés. Modern and chic, rustic and trendy, charming and historic. The cafés are as beautiful as the coffee beans, themselves. So, where to first? And now, we’re all going through a stealthy pandemic, feeling powerless and somehow lonely. In these moments, it can feel like the only thing left within our reach is to worry. It takes a biblical faith to go through this season in sheer dependence on God. But for those of us who, at times, rely on our humanity and are besieged by anxiety, depression and fear. I just wanna say... you aren’t alone & it doesn’t make you a bad christian. They’re signals alerting you that it’s time to dive in self-care & pray. Identify these fear-based thoughts and release them through distractions, leisures, open conversations, worship, etc. Our day-to-day might be ponderous & slow, but they display human compassion & unity in a brand new light. We’re all going through a stealthy pandemic.. but its precisely that, we’ll get through it. 🌈 A post shared by Ashley Stephanie • Montréal (@ashleycamilien) on Mar 22, 2020 at 5:07pm PDT Café Pista, itself, is as bold as the coffee and is a definite go-to for all of the coffee-lovers out there. 💕 CHOISIS TA VIE! ☀️ A post shared by Leader & Girlboss (@eliboulay) on May 4, 2020 at 6:45am PDT This adorable café is located in Old Montreal and has all of the charm and stunning architecture that you'd expect from the city's most historic area.
