Canada has much to be proud of after not one, not two but three Canadian cities made a list of the friendliest cities in the world.
Insider Monkey, an investing website that tracks the movements of corporate insiders and hedge funds, released its list of the 30 Friendliest Cities In The World and Calgary, Toronto and Montreal all made an appearance.
To determine the ranking, Insider Monkey utilized a consensus opinion-based ranking approach. The online investing platform gathered information from relevant Reddit threads, where users shared their experiences and which cities stood out as destinations where tourists felt welcomed.
Each city received a score based on the number of mentions, so each time a city was mentioned, it received a score of one. Consequently, the more mentions and references, the higher the score and overall rank.

Toronto was ranked as the fifth friendliest city in the world, making it clear that the 6ix is one spot tourists have found themselves feeling very welcomed in.
