The Montreal Canadiens went head to head against the Dallas Stars at Montreal's Centre Bell on February 10, 2024, and while the Habs may not have been victorious, it was a nail-biter nonetheless.

Losing three to two against the Texas-based NHL team, the Canadiens are slowly but surely proving themselves to be top contenders in the league and one player in particular is making it clear he was the right draft pick.

Montreal Canadiens right winger Juraj Slafkovsky scored an impressive goal during this afternoon's match, showcasing his skills in ways Habs fans can't get enough of.

This marked Slafkovsky's third straight game where he managed to score, but none were executed as brilliantly as today's.

With a minute and 23 seconds left in the second period, Slafkovsky scored the Habs their second goal of the night on a shot directly over Jake Oettinger's (Dallas Stars goalie) right shoulder from one heck of a tight angle. The goal came after team captain Nick Suzuki sent Slafkovsky the puck from behind the net.

Montreal Canadiens fans were quick to revel over the mind-blowing shot. "What an incredible angle that shot was! Such a fantastic goal. Slaf keeps on climbing," one fan wrote below the Canadiens' official Instagram post.

"Slaf has arrived," another wrote. Many others took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts:
