The Montreal SPCA currently has 17 dogs up for adoption at its rescue facility in Montreal's Triangle borough, located steps away from Metro Namur.

The dogs up for adoption range in breed, age and comfort level, but there's one thing they have in common… they're all looking for their forever home.

For those considering adopting a furry friend, the Montreal SPCA recommends evaluating the costs related to having a pet dog, as well as the commitment required, as many dogs can live up to 15 years.

To meet the doggos up for adoption at the SPCA, you can visit the rescue centre on rue Jean-Talon Ouest during their opening hours. And, for those set on taking home a fur baby, it's important to note the costs associated with animal adoption at the Montreal SPCA.

For a puppy of eight months or less, an adoption fee of $550 is required. For dogs eight months or older, the fee is $400. The SPCA also has a compassionate adoption, which ranges from $0-$150 depending on the animal's age and medical needs.

These fees include sterilization, the dog's first set of vaccines, including the rabies vaccine, as well as a deworming treatment.

So, if you've got room in your heart and home for an additional family member, here are 17 dogs currently up for adoption at the Montreal SPCA.
