The Little Burgundy steak and seafood joint, one of Montreal's quintessential eateries, is putting its own creative spin on ready-made-meals, first popularized in the 1950s.
Like a classic TV dinner, you get a complete meal for a single person all in one convenient take-out package and it requires minimal preparation on your part.

Blanquette de veau truffée TV dinner from Joe Beef
As Joe Beef puts it on its website, "everything you need to watch your favorite program."
However, unlike a classic TV dinner — which is arguably comparable to airplane food — this is next-level delicious.
The meal currently for sale on the Joe Beef website is a veal blanquette with truffles.
According to the website, this consists of "old-fashioned veal stew cooked in Marsala with baby onions, celery root and mushrooms, cream sauce and winter truffle."
It's served with rice pilaf and Vichy carrots. And dessert is a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and a cherry.

It costs $30 and should be pre-ordered for pick-up Wednesday through Saturday at least 24 hours in advance.
