Montreal's Le Grand Poutinefest Is This Weekend & It's Every Quebecer's Dream Come True

When you think of some things that Montreal is known for, you may think of things like festivals and poutine. And for good reason! We've got some of the most incredible festivals in the world and some unbelievable poutine, too. Well, this weekend, you can experience the best of both at Le Grand Poutinefest Anjou 2020.
Located at the Galeries d’Anjou, near the former Sears, the festival will be open on Thursday, August 27 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., then Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This year's festival is no doubt different than years past, but this year, guests will be able to enjoy the best of Quebec's favourite dish from the comfort of their car.
No need to get out and wait for your poutine. You can place an order from 13 poutines vendors and five street food trucks.
You can check out the menu on a smartphone using the QR codes, which will be found on the posters around the event, or by visiting the Facebook page of the event.
All you have to do is sit back, relax and wait for the Poutinefest staff to bring you your order.
The dream, really.
While you're waiting, you can enjoy the tunes of DJ Kleancut on Poutine FM or be entertained by the incredibly talented circus act that will be at the event, too.
Think if we eat poutine, we'll be able to do what they do, too?
Because this is a COVID-safe event, guests won't be permitted to leave their cars. You also won't be able to park your car in the festival facilities, but luckily there are lots of great parks nearby.
This will be a cashless event, with both debit and credit cards accepted.
And, of course, the staff will be wearing masks and keep as much distance as possible.
See you at Poutinefest 2020!
