Montreal Has A New Lobster Bar With Lobster Poutine & Lobster Mac n' Cheese

And it looks like an East Coast lobster shack.

Can't make it to the Bas Saint-Laurent this summer? No problem. The city's latest culinary catch, Pincette, is landing in Old Montreal.

Led by Chef Khelil Ben Ammar formerly of Nelligan and Su, and "inspired by Montreal's vibrant culinary scene," the new Montreal lobster bar aims to "bring the East Coast experience to Montreal," according to a press release shared with MTL Blog.

The décor sets the scene. The dining room evokes an elevated lobster shack with a "chic Montreal-European vibe." It even has charming lobster trap light fixtures.

Among the mouthwatering menu items are lobster mac n' cheese, a lobster roll, lobster poutine and a lobster club sandwich, as well as many other seafood treats and dishes (gotta highlight the cod fritters!).

There's also a full raw bar.

Wash it all down with the Bloody Pincette — a caesar complete with a snow crab leg — a Hamptons Iced Tea, or a selection from the wine or cocktail list.

Pincette opens on Tuesday, August 3 and is serving up seafood delights seven days a week.
