It seems as though the only thing on any Montrealers' mind right now is the joy of knowing the Habs beat the Toronto Maple Leafs in game 7 of the North Division semifinals on Monday evening.

After the game, the streets around the Bell Center saw massive gatherings of people cheering, and MTL Blog's Alex Melki showed us what Montreal looked like live at this time.

Melki described the scene saying, "There's an energy in downtown Montreal right now that hasn't been felt in FAR too long."

And his live video proves exactly that, where we can hear "Olé! Olé! Olé!" being chanted on repeat.

Past Montreal Canadiens games in May had ticket prices of up to $8,000, so it's likely most people were watching the game from a terrasse or the comfort of their homes — and then proceeded to celebrate in the streets.
