Le Shack 420's take on the famous cartoon sandwich, which they call the "Krusty Crabe" will consist of crab cake, aioli, pickles, red onions and fries, the report explains.

"I'm a big fan of SpongeBob SquarePants and I wanted to give the customers a wave of nostalgia," chef Philippe Letarte told Narcity.

"A little nod to the hugely popular show of the 2000s. The result was a gourmet, full-flavoured sandwich that emphasizes the taste of crab, enhanced by our chipotle and garlic mayonnaise."

Just how they were able to smuggle the secret formula all the way from Bikini Bottom remains a mystery. Stay tuned for updates.
