The Severe Thunderstorm Warning In Montreal Resulted In A Little Hail Storm (VIDEO)

Seems like a good day to stay inside...

Contributing Writer

It seems we didn't get the best weather in Montreal this Labour Day. On Monday, Environment Canada posted a severe thunderstorm warning in Montreal. And if you're in the city, you definitely saw the rain come down hard around 12 p.m.

If you heard it knocking against your window, that's because there was also a little hail added into the mix.

Environment Canada meteorologists recently said that they're "tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain."

So, if you thought you were seeing things, you weren't. We are in fact getting hail in Montreal while it's nearly 20 C outside. Does this mean summer is over?

People on Twitter are also sharing photos and videos of their hail storm experience, as we Montrealers naturally do when anything out of the ordinary happens in the city.
