Montreal's restaurant scene has been expanding this season with new terrasses, Mediterranean eateries and now, an Indian-inspired cocktails and tapas bar.
India Rosa, famed for its mouthwatering menu and drinks, has been keeping Montrealers satisfied for years at both its Plateau-Mont-Royal and Griffintown locations. Now, the good vibes (and flavours) are continuing over at Mlle Rosa — India Rosa's newest cocktail bar.
Located on ave. Mont-Royal Est, in the heart of the Plateau, Mlle Rosa will be serving up shareable plates and colourful drinks every day from 4 p.m. 'til late.
"Mlle Rosa is an elegant and inviting place to enjoy a cocktail in Montreal. This bar embodies the festivities of Montreal's Indian culture," said Goppy Sandhu, co-owner of Mlle Rosa.
The new foodie spot officially opened its doors on June 5, allowing guests to dive into some of their most delectable dishes including the vegetarian kofta, pain puri, samosa, dahi puri, paneer malai tikka, keema tacos and salmon tikka.
You can also quench your thirst with over 21 types of cocktails, including signature drinks and wines starting at $13. A few must-try's include the La Rosa, the Toki Wasabi and the El Dorado, to name a few.
The restaurant can accommodate up to 60 people across its 2,800-square-foot space. The restaurant also evokes a golden hour vibe thanks to the subtle hues of pink that are diffused through an indirect play of light, all while incorporating natural elements like copper and amber mirrors, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Mlle Rosa will also have live music and DJs throughout the summer, making it an ideal spot for your next 5 à 7, or in this case, 4 à 7.
Cheers, Montreal.
